How-To Make Chili Oil

In a food processor, place enough dried red chilies to render 1/2 cup, coarsely chopped.








Chili Oil

In a pan, place the chopped chilies and 2 cups of oil. Simmer for about 5 minutes.








Chili Oil

Cool and pour into a glass container. Store in a cool dry place.









Cook’s Note: Add the following ingredients to infuse additional flavors.

  • Ginger and or garlic
  • Coarsely chopped fermented Black Beans
  • Sesame Seed Oil
